INTRODUCTION 

The fourteenth edition of PLAST will be held from Tuesday February 14 to Saturday February 18, 2006, in the new Milan Fairgrounds exhibition complex in Rho-Pero, close to the city beltway. After “K” in Düsseldorf, PLAST in Milan is the second European exhibition for the plastics and rubber industries, both in terms of net surface and the number of booths. Indeed, the last PLAST, in 2003, covered a net surface of 71.336 sqm, with 1.703 exhibitors from 52 countries showcasing machinery and equipment – more than 3.500 units actually running – raw materials, finished and semi-finished plastic molding parts and rubber molding products. 67.907 visitors were registered at the entrance, 24.724 of them coming from 126 foreign countries. PLAST’06 – Meeting with the exhibitors

On Thursday September 15, 2005, 290 exhibitors took part to the presentation of the new Milan Fairgrounds which will be hosting PLAST’06. All were positively impressed by the modernity of the new exhibition complex, which will be surely appreciated also by the visitors of our triennial trade show.

 

Italian collective participation in Tehran

For the third consecutive year the Italian plastics and rubber processing machinery Association is the main sponsor of IRANPLAST, specialized trade show devoted to the most important Middle East Market.Also for the next edition, scheduled from December 3 to 6, 2005, ASSOCOMAPLAST arranges the Italian collective participation, with the widest optioned area among non-Iranian exhibitors.

Presentation conferences

After the PLAST’06 presentation conference held in Tokyo on September 24, 2005, the two next meetings with the local press, the national associations and selected companies (potential visitors at Milan exhibition) are scheduled in Kiev (10.25.2005) and Johannesburg (11.3.2005).
